What are Fairy Tales?

Fairy tales are a form specular fiction that features elements of folklore, commonly featuring magical creatures such as witches, fairies, or gnomes. For Tintern Grammar we also include twisted fairy tales, retellings of folklore or popular stories with a twist.

Examples of books in the the Fairy tale genre are The School for Good and Evil, Cinderella is dead, and Beast and Beauty.
